Bringing the Dream to Life

Pursuing a passion is truly a gift, and transforming that love into a thriving business is an even greater blessing. I am sincerely grateful for the chance to share my enthusiasm with fellow crocheters. My crochet adventure began in childhood, when my skills were limited to crafting granny squares. Little did I realize that I had only scratched the surface of the vast crochet universe. Back then, I struggled to complete projects, which caused my interest to fade. It wouldn't be until many years later that crochet would make a comeback in my life.

As time went on, I faced various challenges. I found myself in a domestic violence situation, a topic that is difficult for me to discuss. However, this period became crucial for the birth of JusBeeCreations. After enduring years of hardship, coping became increasingly difficult, leading to a loss of hope and faith in myself. I needed an escape, and that’s when I returned to crochet. I started with a blanket, promising myself that I only wanted to complete one project. One project quickly blossomed into many, and before I knew it, I had crafted a multitude of items! Each finished piece symbolized a restoration of my spirit, with every stitch contributing to my healing. Crocheting truly saved me.

I began to refine my skills by learning new stitches, techniques, and yarn weights. I also started to read patterns, and that’s when it hit me: I could sell some of my crochet creations. So, I decided to take that leap. After completing numerous patterns from my favorite designers, the idea of creating my own started to take shape. By 2019, my passion had a name—JusBeeCreations Crochet Designs was born. In the years that followed, I continued to develop my skills, designing and selling my own creations. Despite moments of self-doubt and worry, I remained resilient.

Today, I am proud to say that I have been designing for five years, achieving significant milestones along the way. I've appeared on the cover of Crochet Foundry Magazine twice, collaborated with Mary Maxim to showcase my designer page on their site and in their magazines, as well as partnered with Furls Crochet, WeCrochet, and Lion Brand. And my journey is far from over. As JusBeeCreations Crochet Designs continues to thrive, always remember that there is no timing quite like God's timing.
